From the tender age of six, when I was handed my first camera, my passion for photography has blossomed. Inspired by my father’s enduring love for the art, I embraced this journey wholeheartedly. After retiring from a fulfilling career as a reading teacher in 1994, I turned my lifelong enthusiasm into a professional venture. Photography is not just a profession for me; it is the lens through which I experience and share the world.
My photography captures the essence of life, celebrating the beauty in everyday moments. Over the years, I have honed a style that blends elegance with authenticity, reflecting the true character of my subjects—whether it's a breathtaking landscape, a cherished family gathering, or an intricate detail waiting to be discovered.
I find joy in chasing the light, as it dances across different environments, and I draw inspiration from my surroundings in Moretown, Vermont. My work encompasses a diverse range of subjects, each telling its own unique story.
I’ve had the honor of seeing my work published in various esteemed magazines, including Welkom, Porthole Magazine, City Smart, ELLE DECOR, and Family Circle. My photography has also been featured in prominent newspapers such as The Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Daily News, The Boston Globe, and many more. Additionally, I contributed to books including Arcadia Publishing’s Images of America Series, specifically focusing on the Mad River Valley.
Living in a 150-year-old Greek Revival home has deeply influenced my artistic perspective, allowing me to weave the historical character of my surroundings into the fabric of my photography.
I invite you to explore my gallery and immerse yourself in the captivating stories that lie within each photograph. If you wish to know more about my creative vision and journey, please feel free to visit my about page.
